AV Support

AV Support Request Form

Request for AV support must be made at least 5 business days in advance. For larger events or ones with a complex AV setup, please request a walk through with our AV team prior to the event date.

Please Note: 

For any event we support in which we are bringing equipment into the venue, we require a minimum of two hours to deliver, set up, and test the equipment. If the room is not available before the event starts, we will not be able to support the event. Business hours for the audiovisual staff are 8am to 9pm, Monday through Friday.
Hughes-Trigg Events 

If your event is in Hughes-Trigg Student Center, your event will need to be reserved through HTSC. More information can be found at smu.edu/StudentAffairs/HTrigg/PlanEvent.

  • We do not mix live bands
  • Video packages are for indoor use only
  • We do not provide services outside of the SMU main campus
  • We do not lend, borrow, or let people “check out” equipment
  • We can only offer technical support on equipment that we provide
  • Normal business hours are 8am to 9pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sundays are by request, and subject to staff availability
  • We cannot display cameras on projectors
    (IMAG)
  • We do not provide webcasting services.
  • We do not provide pipe and drape outside of the student center
  • Software will not be installed on our event laptops. Our laptops are for presentations and live event support only.
  • We do not provide light trees, spot lights, or camera lighting
