Sam Holland

Sam Holland is an award-winning professor and was director of the Division of Music at the Meadows School of the Arts before becoming the school's dean. His scholarly and professional articles have appeared in every major English language keyboard journal and he is the author or co-author of more than 70 critically acclaimed method and repertoire collections with major publishers, including The Music Tree (piano method books and recordings) and Celebrate Composer editions (repertoire collections with contextual and pedagogical commentary).

He is also co-founder and executive director of the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy, Inc., and executive director of the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy and Clavier Companion magazine. 

In 2015, Holland was named Teacher of the Year by the 22,000-member Music Teachers National Association.
