Dean and Lyle Endowed Professor of Engineering Innovation in the Lyle School of Engineering

Marc P. Christensen, dean of SMU's Lyle School of Engineering, is a strong advocate of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education in the nation's school systems. 

In addition, his research focuses on bionic limbs — integrated photonic signal processing, computational imaging, optical interconnections, photonic neural interfaces.
