Deanie Kepler

Director of Parent & Family Programs


A 1970 graduate of SMU, Deanie Kepler serves as the liaison between the University, parents and their students, helping students adjust to campus life and helping parents adjust to life as the parents of a college student. 

Her advice and counsel covers a broad span of student-parent issues, including preparing for the first year of university life, coping with roommates, facing final exams, returning home for the holidays, and overcoming a disastrous first semester.She works closely with the Mothers’ and Dads’ Clubs to assist their primary goal of ensuring students’ success.
