DALLAS (SMU) – SMU arts and business students will present SMU's annual Fashion Week on April 1-5, bringing fashion designers, bloggers and entrepreneurs to campus.
Founded in 2011, Fashion Week is a five-day event on campus in collaboration with Meadows School of the Arts’ fashion media minor and the SMU Retail Club. Led by a student executive team, this weeklong celebration features panels of industry professionals and a student-produced fashion show. The nonprofit goal is to provide students with exposure to diverse careers.
The week concludes with a runway fashion show on SMU’s Main Quad.
Students Julia Eggleston and Rebecca Marin are executive directors of the student planning team.
All events are free and open to the public.
