Southern Methodist University and Texas A&M University will meet for the 79th time at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in a rivalry dating from the early years of both schools.

Following are links to help you buy tickets, get to the game and find your way around Gerald J. Ford Stadium, 5801 Airline Road at Mockingbird Lane.

Gates will become crowded so get to the stadium early. Gates will open at 1 p.m.. Get to your seat early and avoid the rush. Planning ahead is the key:

The stadium ticket office will open at 10 a.m. Saturday and all ticket windows open at 11:30 a.m.

Ride the DART

Ride the DART from near your house.   Parking is free and round trip passes cost $4 per person round trip. Exit at Mockingbird Station. Take the SMU shuttle to the stadium or walk.

Game Improvements

After the first home game on September 8, SMU Athletics listened to fans and made the following improvements:

  • Increased police presence to direct traffic ingress and egress around the stadium
  • Better in-game music
  • Additional free shuttles to and from Mockingbird Station
  • Increased directional signage around the stadium
  • Continued use of Social Stadium, allowing fans to submit photos for the videoboard and to vote for Player of the Game using the Twitter hashtag #PonyUp
