Carly Rae Jepsen's hit single turned out to be the summer tune that was stuck in everyone's heads. With the song's infectious melody and catchy lyrics, it was is nearly impossible not to turn it up full blast when hearing it on the radio.

"Call Me Maybe" is the song that makes you want to sing along, even if you're a 300-pound linebacker.

We've seen viral videos before, but Carly Rae's catchy tune sparked more lip-syncing and parody montages than we could count. Surprisingly, some of the best viral YouTube clips featured sports figures pretending to sing the song in hilarious fashion. . .

Here is what they had to say about SMU's version:

9. SMU Women's Rowing Team

Breakdown: Naturally, athletes are competitors. So when Harvard baseball put out their viral video, leave it to the SMU rowing team to take it up a notch. If the Harvard guys are the Backstreet Boys of van lip syncing videos, then the SMU gals are surely the Spice Girls.

Video star: The car driving next to the team van. How did they not crash?

Best scene: Skip to 1:44 for some fancy footwork, and what have to be some very confused people in the cars beside them.

Best prop: Not much in terms of props.

Dance grade: C-…If we were going based on foot movements, their grade would obviously be higher.

Creepy or cute? Cuteish.

Best Reaction: "my son said 'mom, shouldn't they be buckled? Looks kinda dangerous.'" – thecupcorset

Popularity tracker: 913,938 page views and counting.

What would Carly say? "Um, stick to Row Row Row Your Boat, girls."
