SMU Psychology Professor was a guest on Moody Radio's "Up For Debate," talking about the Presbyterian Church's newly passed resolution against using corporal punishment on children.
SMU Psychology Professor George Holden, a recognized international authority on spanking, was a guest on Moody Radio's "Up For Debate" on July 14, 2012, when it took up the topic "Is it Biblical to Spank Your Children?"
The program was in response to a July 5 resolutiuon by the 220th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) calling for "an end to the practice of corporal punishment in homes, schools and child care facilities."
The program was hosted by Julie Roys and the other guest was Daniel Huerta, a licensed social worker.
