Sian Xiao

Ph.D., Theoretical and Computational Chemistry

Sian Xiao, coming from China, is now a PhD student in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry.  He learned Polymer Materials and Engineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in that subject.  He is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of chemistry.  His research now is focused on predicting protein-ligand affinities and giving a scoring function to develop potential computer-aided drug design methods.
