Keller Mogensen

Ph.D., Education

Born and raised in Burleson, TX, I completed a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction at Texas A&M University. For the last 4 years, I taught middle school English Language Arts and Social Studies in Texas and Georgia before deciding to pursue a Ph.D. in Educational Research at SMU. My interests are focused on teacher preparation and retention, and it is my hope to conduct research that will provide better support K-12 teachers. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring Dallas with my husband, reading historical fiction novels, and staying connected to family and friends.
