Annual symposium offers new outlooks on teaching, brings new faculty together
On August 16, SMU’s Center for Teaching Excellence hosted its annual Teaching Effectiveness Symposium. Many of Meadows’ Temerlin Advertising Institute faculty members attended workshops and lectures and engaged in exercises in cross-disciplinary and tandem teaching techniques. Following the sessions, the Center for Teaching Excellence held a luncheon at which new faculty members from both Temerlin and Communication Studies joined together to meet, share ideas and relax.
