Michael Federico

Michael Federico is an award-winning playwright and actor who has worked professionally for 25 years. He is a recipient of multiple National Endowment for the Arts Art Works Awards, the Dramatist Guild Foundation’s Writers Alliance Grant, and several DFW Theater Critics Forum Awards for Best Actor and Best Play. His work has been produced at Joe’s Pub and NAMT (New York), San Diego State University, and theaters throughout Dallas, including Theatre Three, Kitchen Dog Theater and the Magnolia Lounge. Outside of theater, Michael has written for Legendary Films and on a range of titles for Wondery, including Wicked Game, Business Movers, Terms and American Scandal. Michael’s horror movie, Final Dress, about mayhem at a musical theater camp, is currently in post-production. Along with performing on stages throughout DFW, Michael can occasionally be seen on TV selling 7-Eleven Slurpees alongside Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, pitching the joys of eyeglasses as a national spokesperson for Eyemart Express, or getting killed by a highly trained assassin in an old episode of Fox’s The Good Guys.
