Adjunct Lecturer, Language Skills for the Performer’s and Artist Diploma programs
Morgan May is an intercultural and language consultant and has taught English as a Second Language (ESL); English as a Foreign Language (EFL); French; Spanish; Japanese; and human diversity in academic and corporate settings. She also conducts private executive language coaching in English, French, Spanish and Japanese, and serves as a consultant in the areas of translation, multicultural studies, human diversity and information technology. May has a background in second language acquisition and management information systems, specializing in linguistics as well as information and instructional technology.
May speaks French, Spanish, Japanese and Russian and has lived, worked and studied in several countries in Africa, Asia, Central America and Europe.
In her spare time, May serves as a volunteer for the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth and the Dallas Museum of Art. In addition, she serves on the board of City Credit Union.
May has taught language skills to graduate music students in the Performer’s and Artist Diploma programs since 2010.
