Satellite Locations

The Weekend Format strives to structure the program to be an efficient way for working professionals to pursue a degree or certificate while still working.  Class meetings are scheduled at satellite campus locations in the DFW Metro area to make it convenient for students who do not live near SMU main campus.

SuperMedia Hotel & Conference Center

Because of its location in the center of the DFW Metroplex, the SuperMedia Center represents an easy-to-reach location for students living almost anywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Meeting rooms are furnished with 30-inch wide tables, all-day ergonomic seating, white boards, built-in screens, and wireless Internet access.

Another modern facility that has the advantage of its location in the center of the DFW Metroplex, the American Airlines Training Center also represents an easy-to-reach location for students living almost anywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Tarrant County - Corporate Employees Recreation Association (CERA)

For groups whose members are predominantly based in the Fort Worth area, class meetings can be scheduled at the Bryant Irvin Recreation Complex located off Bryant Irvin Road in Fort Worth.  This recreation and conference center features large classrooms featuring seminar tables, ergonomic chairs, white board, screen, TV/VCR, DVD player, and wireless Internet connection.

Collin County - SMU in Plano

For groups whose members are predominantly based in the Plano area, class meetings can be scheduled at SMU in Plano located in the heart of Legacy Business Park, just off Tennyson Parkway.  The campus is set on 16 landscaped acres and consists of four buildings with 50 classrooms, seminar spaces and computer labs custom designed to meet the needs of our programs.  The entire campus is served by SMU's wireless network.
