The Weekend Format strives to structure the program to be an efficient way for working professionals to pursue a degree or certificate while still working.  Class meetings are scheduled at satellite campus locations in the DFW Metro area to make it convenient for students who do not live near our SMU main campus.

Another modern facility that has the advantage of its location in the center of the DFW Metroplex, the American Airlines Training Center alsorepresents an easy-to-reach location for students living almost anywhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All open enrollment groups, with the exception of those majoring in Manufacturing Systems Management, are placed at this conference center. Groups of students from Textron companies also meet here.

Norris Front ViewTarrant County - Norris Conference Center

Weekend Format groups made up of students from the Fort Worth area are placed at Norris Conference Center – a  modern meeting and conference center – for their class meetings during their time in the program. This conference center features large classrooms featuring all the amenities one would expect in a higher education classroom such as seminar tables, ergonomic chairs, white board, screen, TV/VCR, DVD player, and high-speed wireless Internet connection.

SMU in PlanoCollin County - SMU in Plano

For groups whose members are predominantly based in the Plano area, class meetings can be scheduled at SMU in Plano located in the heart of Legacy Business Park, just off Tennyson Parkway.  The campus is set on 16 landscaped acres and consists of four buildings with 50 classrooms, seminar spaces and computer labs custom designed to meet the needs of our programs.  The entire campus is served by SMU's wireless network.
