Design and analysis of networked systems with a specific focus on modeling and optimization in applications including relay networks in transportation and telecommunications, emergency response networks, biomass/bioenergy networks, flexible and equitable service networks, closed-loop logistics and recycling networks, environmentally-aware production/distribution networks with inventory considerations, and energy-efficient wireless sensor networks.
