Thermal Science and Fluid Mechanics
- Thermal-based laser micro- and nano-processing, with an emphasis on heat transfer, phase change, and fluid flow occurring during these processes. Applications include laser micromachining of electronic, photonic, and fluidic devices; laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT); nanoparticle fabrication, and fabrication of superhydrophobic surfaces
