Blockchain Hub

In 2018, the Blockchain Hub for an Inclusive Economy was created at the Hunt Institute in partnership with FinTech4Good, to foster the application of blockchain and other transformational technologies for a more sustainable and inclusive economy.

Blockchain Hub exists to:

  • Promote an understanding of blockchain technology and its potential applications, related challenges, and opportunities
  • Disseminate the experiences of operating blockchain models
  • Serve as a multidisciplinary and multistakeholder hub for developing and implementing blockchain solutions for economically viable solutions

Tech4Good Roundtables

The Tech4Good Global Roundtables feature conversations with entrepreneurs, policymakers, academics and thought leaders about transformational technology-based solutions and approaches to help those most affected and to support the recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.

Our guests will also discuss some of the big questions our society is facing and the visions for the post-COVID-19 economic system.

Map INDallas

The Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity in SMU's Lyle School of Engineering and its partner organizations are working to improve access to information about free services available in Dallas through an innovative mapping approach called Map INDallas.

Studies have shown that many services go unused by the people who need them most. With this map, we hope to change that by empowering individuals with the tool to identify and reach services.
