Due to vendor licensing restrictions, off campus access to SMU library databases is restricted to the following library user groups:
- SMU Students, Staff, and Faculty with active SMU library accounts
- Retired SMU Faculty and Staff
- SMU Visiting Scholars and Fellows with Research Cards
- SMU Alumni with Alumni Card
TexShare, Friends of the Library and all other visitors may access research databases on campus by visiting SMU libraries. Visitors cannot access research databases off campus.
