Planning Your Course

Course planning is a multi-step process that begins with decisions about what students should know and be able to do by the conclusion of the course ("student learning outcomes").  Working from there, faculty members plan course content and make decisions about the best teaching methods to help students achieve those outcomes.  This page provides links to resources that can help with that process.  In addition, be sure to consult the teaching policy memo that we sent you for information about satisfying the requirements of the university and its accreditors.
