After receiving his BA from Vanderbilt University, Adam pursued a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University’s School of the Arts in New York City. Seeking to apply his experiences to the education of future graduates, he joined the Career Services department at the College of Fine Arts at University of Texas at Austin, where he gained extensive experience guiding students through all aspects of their career-planning and professional development. This position also enabled Adam to spearhead job and internship fairs, workshops and other career-related initiatives. Once the opportunity arrived to join SMU Guildhall as the Career Counselor, Adam was more than prepared to embrace the role. In addition to co-instructing the professional development curriculum and planning the program’s career fairs, he also oversees all aspects of the school’s alumni relations. Adam is passionate about helping students identify their goals and empowering them to reach those goals.
