The International Baccalaureate Scholarship is awarded to students who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, students entering the University as a new First Year or Transfer student will be evaluated for this scholarship during the admission process. This scholarship is renewable for up to eight terms for First Year students, up to five terms for Transfer students, or until graduation, whichever comes first. All recipients must maintain an SMU cumulative GPA of 3.000 and full-time enrollment each term.
Maximum Award Amount: $7,500 per year or $3,750 per semester.
