About
Lauren has nearly 10 years of experience in hospitality, event coordination, and operations management. Part of her work experience includes: managing the Dana Juett Residency of Social Venture Partners of Dallas; leading the DFW Alumni Chapter of her alma mater, St. Edward's University; and event and application coordination for a signature project of the Junior League of Dallas, Women LEAD. Throughout her career, Lauren invested deeply in the personal and professional development of interns, employees, and program participants . Her career at SMU includes having previously worked at SMU in Human Resources and the Office of the Provost.
Lauren graduated from St. Edward's University in 2011 with Honors and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies. There she served as a Student Ambassador for the Kozmetsky Center of Excellence, Resident Assistant, Service Break Experience Trip Leader, and participated as a member of the Global Studies Living Learning Community, and Model OAS General Assembly. In her final semester, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain where she studied her thesis topic: A Comparative Analysis of the Texas-Mexico Border and the Morocco-Spain Border.
