Biographical Note:
Hilde Frafjord Johnson served as Norway’s Minister of International Development in both of Prime Minister Bondevik’s governments from 1997 to 2000 and from 2001 to 2005. She was a Christian Democratic Party (KrF) member of parliament between 1989 and 2001. Ms. Johnson is currently national chair of her party.
