The Vagina Monologues

The SMU Feminist Equality Movement (FEM) will present their annual production of The Vagina Monologues, including performances by Embrey Human Rights Program majors and minors, with proceeds benefiting Genesis Women's Shelter and Support ($5 in advance, $10 at the door).
Gender Violence Panel with Survivors of Human Trafficking

In partnership with the Department of Justice and the national AMBER Alert program, the Embrey Human Rights Program will highlight the testimonies of human trafficking survivors at our community Gender Violence panel. Revealing the personal impact of human trafficking, the panelists offer stories of resilience and share insights about gender violence’s continued presence across college campuses.
Singing the Beloved Community: An Evening with the Dallas Street Choir

The Embrey Human Rights Program is excited to host the Dallas Street Choir on April 5th. Organized in partnership with the Meadows School of the Arts, this event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. and consider how King's work for economic justice still resonates in 2018.”
Meadows School of the Arts Senior Dance Concert
May 4 and 5, 2018

The annual Senior Dance Concert features works choreographed and produced by seniors in the Division of Dance. This year's program will feature EHRP student Kendell Miller-Roberts, who will debut her original piece focused on the theme of gun violence in the United States.
