About:

Wendy DeOre has enjoyed a thirty-year career teaching English literature and composition.  Most of that time has been spent in the secondary schools of the Dallas Independent School District, where she worked in the Advanced Placement Program, primarily at Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts.  Wendy also taught English composition full-time at Southern Methodist University and part-time in the Dallas County Community College District. Since retiring, Wendy has focused her time studying and teaching in the field of Tibetan Buddhism, becoming a founding member and a lay ordained teacher in the Nying Je Ling Buddhist Community.

Publications:  Wendy transcribed and edited an extensive oral commentary by the Venerable Tashi Nyima on a major work by the thirteenth century Tibetan Master, Dolpopo Sherab Gyaltsen. This commentary titled, The Dharma Handbook, was published in 2019 by Montana Del Dharma Publications.
