Lecturer
Melody Townsel is veteran communicator and educator whose career comprises teaching Advanced Placement high-school writing, history and research classes; playwriting and debate workshops; freelance writing; public relations consulting; and journalism. In addition to lecturing at SMU, Melody teaches at Dallas ISD’s Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and consults for the National Math Science Initiative.
