Students desiring a minor in economics must take the four economics core courses (ECO 1311, 1312, 3301, and 3302) and two economics courses at the 4000 or above level. MATH 1309 or 1337 and STAT 2331 or 4340 are required. In order to graduate with a minor in economics, students must also maintain a 2.00 minor GPA. No grade less than C- will count towards the minor in economics. Independent study (ECO 4390), academic internship (ECO 4110), and departmental distinction (ECO 4398) classes cannot be used toward an economics minor. FINA courses cannot be used towards an economics minor. ECO 3355 Money & Banking cannot be used toward the economics minor.
