Jeff Lamb serves Southwest Airlines as executive vice president, corporate services. Mr. Lamb oversees the Technology, Airport Affairs, Facilities Management, Southwest Airlines University, Diversity & Inclusion, and People (HR) departments. He led the Integration Management Office (IMO) to oversee the acquisition of AirTran Airways. He launched Southwest's diversity and wellness initiatives and the award-winning Emerging Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Jeff has been a Southwest officer since 2006 and reports to chairman & CEO Gary Kelly.
Mr. Lamb has 34 years of experience in corporate America spanning four different industries: oil & gas, media, real estate, and now transportation. Prior to joining Southwest Airlines in 2004, he worked at Mesa Petroleum under the leadership of Boone Pickens. His leadership roles at Mesa included most corporate functions and last served Mesa as VP, administration, for Mesa Environmental. He also served as vice president of administration at Belo Corporation, one of the largest broadcasting/newspaper companies in the country. His responsibilities included leadership over Human Resources, Facilities, Security, Shared Services and Risk Management departments. In 2000, Mr. Lamb began working for Roger Staubach at The Staubach Company as their executive vice president, corporate operations, and president of Staubach Lease Administration.
Mr. Lamb currently serves on the board of directors for Children's Medical Center Dallas and formerly on the national board of directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He and his wife Kim have been married for 32 years and have been blessed with three daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren. They live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
