Merge Enrollment (Section Rosters)

The new integration of Courses.SMU and Access.SMU creates and populates course shells for all courses and sections being taught during the current term. OIT Help can merge section enrollment to save your the bother of maintaining multiple courses with the same content.

You must contact the OIT help desk to have this done.

Using the old copy course method will cause your rosters to become confused. Students that have dropped, added or swapped sections my become disabled in your course. If this occurs and the term has started it is very difficult to resolve. Also you could lose grades.
