Temporary Jobs

Temporary staff work for a specified, limited period of time. Temporary assignments may be used for limited-duration project work, staffing shortages, workload peaks, or to provide coverage for an employee on leave. This does not include student employees. Temporary staff are not eligible for University benefits.

SMU has formed a partnership with Kelly Services to administer the placement of temporary workers on campus. Working as a temporary employee at SMU is a great way to gain valuable experience and learn about the unique culture of the university.
