SMU Wellpower Welcomes Health Coach, Rhea Li
Wellpower welcomes Rhea Li, our new onsite health coach from Healthways, our new wellness partner. Rhea is a registered dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and a Master’s degree in public health with a focus on health education and health promotion. She has experience in providing counseling from childhood into adulthood covering a wealth of topics including healthy eating, physical activity, and stress management. She previously worked as the Healthy Lifestyle Coordinator for Rice University, developing new wellness programs for faculty and staff. Rhea’s philosophy when health coaching is getting to know clients personally in order to help them build more satisfying and healthy lifestyles. She is looking forward to working you to help you meet your wellness goals!
Our health coach helps SMU staff/faculty achieve their wellness goals by providing coaching and support in-person or by phone. Some of our health coach's activities on campus include:
- Providing on-going health coaching in-person, on the phone, or via email
- Facilitating lunchtime seminars or webinars during the year
- Helping Wellpower promote a culture of wellness throughout SMU
