Bridwell Library owns many published copies of John Wesley's sermons. This manuscript is the only hand-written sermon by Wesley held at the Library. The sermon was written in Birr, Ireland, and paraphrases Richard Baxter's Saints' Everlasting Rest, a book recommended by Wesley to his followers.
