These works guided participants through the fourteen days of activities constituting the Uniting Conference. The seventeen-page illustrated program booklet served as both a functional document and a keepsake. It opens with greetings from the conference planning committee, Dallas Mayor J. Erik Jonsson, and Texas Governor John Connally. The conference schedule and delegate seating chart follow. The booklet concludes with historical highlights from Texas Methodist and EUB history. The official delegate handbook, compiled and edited by J. Wesley Hole, served as an exhaustive reference work detailing conference offices and meeting spaces, personnel, delegates and reserve delegates, standing committee assignments, and the policies and procedures to be followed in conducting the Uniting Conference.
