John W. Elliott
June 8, 1925 – September 28, 1989
A graduate of Shaw University and Perkins School of Theology, Rev. Elliott held ministerial appointments in the North Texas, West Texas, and Central Texas Conferences of the Methodist and United Methodist churches for thirty-four years. Elliott’s effective spiritual leadership and social justice advocacy are memorialized through the Reverend John W. Elliott, Sr. Ministerial Scholarship.
