The Betty Maynard Award winner for 2008 is Katrina Myers.
Congratulations!

The topic for the 2008 Betty Maynard Award:
For the first time in the history of our country, a woman is a viable candidate for the office of the President of the Unites States, drawing much attention from the media.  Without focusing on partisan politics, how would you evaluate the media coverage of Senator Clinton’s presidential campaign?  Do you feel the media content of the coverage of her campaign (relative to the other candidates in the race) is influenced by her gender? If so, how? And how has this coverage helped or hindered her performance in the race? Please explain your reasoning carefully.
