How to properly resize images

  1. Click once on the image.
  2. Using an anchor on the corner of the image, resize the image to what you want.
  3. On the Pictures toolbar, which may be at the bottom of the screen, click Resample (). If you do not see a Pictures toolbar, right-click on the image and select Show Pictures Toolbar.
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE IMPORTANT NOTES
  • Only click resample when you are absolutely sure the image is at the correct size. Resampling an image permanently modifies it. Do not repeatedly resize and resample.
  • If an image is too small and you have already resampled it, you must replace the current copy of the image with the original version. You may not increase an image's size after you resample it.
  • You must always resample a resized image before publishing your web page.
  • When you save a page after resampling images, FrontPage displays a box titled Save Embedded Files. Your response depends on three factors:
    • If a resampled image appears in any other page and you do not want it to change size in the other pages (e.g., you want to keep it large in another page), you must select the image and click on Rename.
    • If a resampled image appears in any other page and you do want it to change on all other pages, make sure Action says "Overwrite".
    • If you didn't meant to resample the images, click on the image name, click on Set Action, and select "Don't Save".
