Opportunities for SMU Singers:
        Scholarships available in all degree programs
        Private Vocal Instruction available in all degree programs
        Assigned Pianist to play for voice lessons, weekly rehearsal, voice juries, degree recitals
        Coaching for Performance majors: upper-level undergraduates and MM voice candidates
        Meadows Opera Theatre
        Undergraduates: open to all, including first-year students
        Graduates:  open to all, two semesters required in MM Voice Performance
        Roles in major productions: available to all, cast by audition.
        Music Theatre Workshop: available at undergraduate and graduate levels
        Diction for Singers in German, Italian, French and English (Undergraduate)
        Solo opportunities at SMU and in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area:
                        Choral Program offers solo opportunities by open auditions
                        Meadows Symphony Orchestra: Fall Concerto Competition
                        Community Organizations: Choral, Orchestra, New Music, and Theatre
                        Churches and Synagogues
        Vocal Pedagogy:
                        offered to undergraduate,
                        required in MM Voice Performance Degree
        Teaching Opportunities:
        Private teaching positions: sponsored by school districts
        Teaching Assistantship for SMU Non-Major Vocal Study:
                                    Only MM Voice Performance majors
                                    Must have successfully completed Vocal Pedagogy Course
                                    Selection made by voice faculty
