The following is an Honors-related Degree Progress Report Change Request Form. 

Before you complete this form, you should read the following important information:

It is common for Honors students to experience issues with their Degree Progress Reports, particularly when students request substitutions or exceptions to the approved curriculum.  A student may petition for a non-Honors course to receive Honors credit and/or for a non-GEC course to receive PERPSECTIVES or CULTURAL FORMATIONS credit.  If the petitions are approved, individual adjustments may be necessary in order for these courses to display correctly under the appropriate GEC requirement.

The following form is the fastest way to amend your DPR so that you will graduate with the appropriate amount of Honors credits that you earned.  If you notice a problem with your DPR related to Honors, you should immediately fill this form out.  Please fill out this form for each individual Honors DPR problem you encounter. If you are a graduating senior in need of a DPR change, you must fill this out before Spring Break of your senior year.  It is likely that you will need to fill out this form if you have successfully petitioned a non-Honors course for Honors credit (after having received Dr. Doyle's permission).  It is prohibited to request a DPR change if you want an Honors perspective to count as an Honors CF, or vice-versa.

Reminder: A course will not count for Honors perspective credit if it is within the student's primary major field.  (I.E. If you are an Economics major, then ECO 1312 Honors will not count for GEC or Honors credit).

Please allow 2 weeks for processing of your request, and then check your DPR again to confirm that it was corrected.
