TIPS AND HELPFUL HINTS 

Items that we list on this page are what we have found to be helpful when navigating SMU Financials and/or SMU Budgets.  We hope you find these tips and helpful hints useful.  They are listed in no particular order.  Unless otherwise noted, all information is based on using a Windows PC with Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1.  Happy navigating!

 

  • Need more screen area?  Want less scrolling?

    • Press the 'F11' key to give you a full screen view.  The 'F11' key is a toggle key (on/off switch) that can be used throughout your web browsing experience.  It is not limited to SMU Financials and/or SMU Budgets functions.

    • The HIGHER your screen resolution, the more screen area you will see.  The trade-off is that pictures and text appear smaller.  Click here for directions to change your display settings.
