Training Schedule

 

 

 

We currently offer two SMU Financials classes.  These classes are usually offered twice a month, the second and fourth Thursdays: 

 

  • Entering Online Journal Entries AND Viewing Vendors, Vouchers and Payments

  • Viewing Journal Entries, Vendors, Vouchers, & Payments

 

To Users of SMU Financials:  This is a reminder that SMU Financials will be unavailable during its upgrade period next month.  We are upgrading from SMU Financials version 8.4 to version 8.9.

 Timing:  The upgrade takes place Friday March 9th to Tuesday March 13th. 

 SMU Financials will be unavailable beginning noon Friday March 9th until 8:00 am Tuesday March 13th.

 Please note the system will not be available at all Saturday and Sunday (March 10-11) or on Monday March 12th.

 Impact to You:

The ‘look and feel’ of the upgraded application is quite similar to the current version, so the impact should be minimal to the majority of users that logon to SMU Financials to view/enter journal entries and/or inquire on vouchers, payments and vendors.  However, special guides will be posted on our website at go-live to assist with the transition, and optional hands-on training will be available as well.
