Your membership in the new Tower Center Forum will give you the opportunity to be on the forefront of important issues facing the world. The Tower Center Forum brings you compelling, relevant briefings and exclusive events with powerful individuals.

Political. The mission of the Tower Center for Political Studies at SMU is simple: to train and educate undergraduate students, to enhance and expand their practical political knowledge, and to stimulate an interest in public service. Your tax-deductible membership in the Tower Center Forum will enhance those students' experiences through a variety of means, including internships, seminars, participation in national conventions, and visits from diplomats-in- residence and other public officials.

Practical. When you join the Tower Center Forum, you not only encourage the growth and education of future political leaders, but you also can gain access to a circle of influence comprising those individuals making and shaping policy today.

As a member of the Tower Center Forum, you will receive:

  • Priority invitation to Tower Center events, including private gatherings with policymakers and leaders
  • Priority invitation to the biennial Medal of Freedom Award celebration
  • Special publications produced by the Tower Center for Political Studies

Your tax-deductible membership in the Tower Center Forum is an investment in our future.

Powerful. Joining the Tower Center Forum gives you the opportunity to increase your access to leading politicians, public officials, and internationally recognized political analysts. Membership is secured with your pledge or gift of $1,000 a year or, for those under 40 years of age, with a special reduced membership if you pledge for three years.

About the Tower Center for Political Studies.
Since its creation in 1992, the John Goodwin Tower Center for Political Studies has sought to bridge the gap between the world of ideas, scholarship, and teaching and the real-world practice of politics and public policy. The center carries out the commitment of the late United States Senator and SMU alumnus John Tower ('53) to educate and inspire a new generation of thoughtful leaders.
