In order to write down music, you will need staff paper. This page has a link to an Adobe PDF file that you can use to print a page of blank staff paper. You may use this to work on the activities at the end of each section, to compose your own music, or to copy down and notate any music.

This file will require the Adobe Acrobat Reader(tm) in order to view and print it. This is a free program available below (although you may already have it installed - it is used in a great many other programs). Try clicking on the link for the staff paper first. If your browser tells you that it doesn't know what to do with the file, then save it to disk, and then click the second link to download the Adobe Acrobat program. You can then use that program to open, view, and print the staff paper anytime (even while off-line).
