Mission Statement: Helping the Church recover, develop, and renew its evangelistic heritage and ministry of forming intentional disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Center for the Advanced Study and Practice of Evangelism seeks to accomplish its mission by providing resources within the Field of Evangelism for scholars, local churches, and others engaged in evangelization, and by providing a strategic forum in which scholars and practitioners of evangelism can be in fruitful dialogue.

For the scholar, the Center works through Perkins School of Theology to offer lectures, higher level degrees in the Field of Evangelism, and a growing body of resources for study.

For the evangelism practitioner (including the local church pastor, the lay person, and members of emerging faith communities), the Center offers evangelism-focused Bible studies and continuing education courses in evangelism.
