Applicants to the Master of Divinity
M. Div.,
Master of Church Ministries C.M.M.,
Master of Sacred Music M.S.M., and
Master of Theological Studies M.T.S.
programs must file three types of documents in order to be
considered for admission to Perkins.
1)
Application form,
including the required essays, for the specific degree you are seeking
and the personal assessment. A $50 non-refundable application fee
should accompany the application form.
2) Official transcripts from all colleges or
universities previously attended indicating degree(s) earned. Official
transcripts must come in a sealed envelope to the address noted on the application
form. Student and/or faxed copies are not acceptable.
3) Four recommendation letters
with attached reference forms from reference persons listed on the application.
The letters should come from your pastor or a minister who knows you best,
two professors or two professional employment colleagues, and a lay
leader in your church or community context.
The application, together with transcripts and
references and audition tape for M.S.M. applicants, should be submitted to
the Perkins Office of Admission and Financial Aid by the appropriate
deadline.
