A two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, Bill O'Reilly is currently
host of the FOX News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor, the most-watched
program on cable news. He is known for his no-nonsense style and pushes
his guests to provide straightforward commentary on some the nation's
most provocative issues. He also hosts a daily national radio show,
The Radio Factor, and writes a weekly syndicated column that is carried
by nearly 200 newspapers across the nation.
O'Reilly started his television news career working for a variety of stations, including WFAA-TV in Dallas, where he won a Dallas Press Club Award for excellence in investigative reporting. He joined ABC News as a correspondent on The World News Tonight in 1986, and in 1989, became a household name when he began hosting the nationally syndicated Inside Edition.
Both of O'Reilly's non-fiction books The O'Reilly Factor and The No Spin Zone have reached number one on The New York Times bestseller list, and Mel Gibson's Icon Productions has optioned the movie rights for his novel, Those Who Trespass. Prior to joining the FOX news team, O'Reilly received his Master's degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
