This course utilizes houses and real estate as a way to think about cultural continuity, change and conflict in Northern New Mexico.

 Books are available through the SMU bookstore in Dallas and through Amazon.com and other online booksellers. You will need to purchase the books as soon as possible since you will use them to write the first paper for the course which is due JULY 25, a week before the first week of class.

3 credit hours

NOTE: CF courses taken during reduced Taos summer semesters require completion of course readings prior to arrival. Faculty members will email students with assignments prior to the beginning of the semester. This course fulfills the General Education co-requirement in Human Diversity.
