Legal and Ethical Environment of Business
MUST BE TAKEN CONCURRENTLY WITH BA 4111, 4112 or
4113.
This is a course in basic legal survival. Its primary goal is to provide business
professionals with an understanding of legal issues affecting business sufficient to:
- Incorporate legal, ethical and profitability considerations into the decision-making
process,
- Work effectively with attorneys, and to
- Formulate and practice policies and procedures designed to minimize exposure to liability
and avoid litigation.
