The following is a List of the Mier Prisoners who were released on the 16th of September, 1844, by the Mexican Government, and who arrived in New-Orleans per Schooner Creole, Captain Dessechi, which sailed on the 22d of September: passage, thirteen days from Vera Cruz. Several Mier Prisoners remained in Mexico, and others took a different route home.
