The visiting student program is for undergraduate students ONLY. Students must be in good standing at the institution they last attended and eligible to return to that institution.
Visiting students wishing to attend SMU summer school in 2014 must complete and submit an Application for Non-degree and Visiting Summer Studies and the Enrollment Form for Visiting Summer Undergraduates. Applications may be mailed, faxed, or delivered in person. Information on submission is found on the application.

Applications must be on file at least 24 hours before the student’s course enrollment can be processed. All applications made during late registration must be delivered in person.
First year, transfer, and readmitted students who have been admitted to SMU for fall 2014 and wish to update the term of entrance to summer school must notify the Office of Enrollment Services in writing at P. O. Box 750181, Dallas, TX 75275 prior to May 1, 2014.

Texas State Law effective January 1, 2012: Any entering student at a Texas college or university who is under the age of 22 years must be immunized before attending classes and must have received the vaccine within the preceding 5 years and at least 10 days prior to the first day of classes or provide exemption information. Enrollment holds will be placed for students who do not comply. Please refer to and download required forms by going to smu.edu/healthcenter. Go to the right of the panel and click on Health Requirements & Health History Form. Then go to the right of the next panel and click on Health History Form. There are two pages. Forms can be faxed, emailed, mailed or hand delivered to the Health Center. The fax number, address, and telephone numbers are on the top of the form.
