Dear Student Organization:

Student Foundation is hosting a triathlon at Mane Event this year, and your organization will have the chance to win a gift basket full of prizes. A PIE-THROWING CONTEST will show which organizations has the best ability to plan ahead and succeed, a VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT will display your members’ skills in competition against other organizations on campus, and an ALL-OUT EATING CONTEST will give your organization the chance to promote itself and your hearty appetites

Mane Event is on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 3 to 7 p.m. on The Main Quad between Dallas Hall and the flag pole. We are planning a day full of entertainment, fun, activities, and food. We want your organization to be involved and show its school spirit.

PHASE 1: PIE-THROWING CONTEST: Ready, aim, throw, as organizations will compete to see, which team can hit the most targets. The contest will be held near the stage. Each team will have four members throw two pies each at a stationary target…Bull’s Eye 

PHASE 2: VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT : Stretch, huddle, and prepare as organizations will compete at Volleyball nets on the Main Quad southwest of Dallas Hall. Each team will get the opportunity to play one game, and the winning teams will continue to play until there is only one team left – THE CHAMPIONS!

PHASE 3: ALL-OUT EATING CONTEST: Bring your bibs and brace yourself, as organizations will compete to see who can eat the most food, set up at different stations, in the fastest amount of time. The contest will be held on the stage. It will be a relay race, where the first person eats 10 Pluckers wings, then the next, and so on. Whoever finishes first is the winner! We encourage you to show off what your organization is all about.

The organization that wins the most phases will be declared the winning team.
